The 'Retailer Advocacy Fund' (formerly the Bike Hub levy) provides a framework for retailers to support the BA's advocacy programme, giving the retailer sector a real voice. Recognising this support and the key role retailers play in delivering cycling, the BA's Trade Network provides participating retailers with exclusive access to detailed market data, cutting edge retail finance and more, on terms normally only available to big business.

Three core services are available to Trade Network members, all designed to strengthen your business and put value back into your operation, in recognition of your advocacy support through the Retailer Advocacy Fund.

A free telephone advice service for you, your business and your employees
The Bicycle Association are working with Law Express to provide a free advice line for UK cycle retailers AND employees. Law Express have experienced advisors covering all aspects of UK Law.
Online access to Award Winning HR and Health & Safety content
The Bicycle Association is working with Avensure to provide a free HR and Health & Safety service for UK cycle retailers. If you have any questions about HR or Health and Safety, you can talk to a dedicated provider for free and impartial advice. You can also access forms and templates to help free up time and improve your business performance.
How to access the Trade Network Benefits
You can access the Trade Network benefits immediately if
a) you are supplied by one or more of Giant, Raleigh, Specialized and Trek (for the first phase of roll-out. Subsequently we hope to roll it out as widely as possible across the industry) and
b) you contribute to the Retail Advocacy Fund (formerly known as the Bike Hub Levy) through these suppliers and
c) you support the BA’s Market Data Service by agreeing to contribute your sales data (for retailers with turnover under £5 million, this entitles you to free access to detailed, accurate monthly data at regional and national levels).
